Please read these terms before placing an order for precision electro-optical equipment.
Overview
This storefront operates under the Island Night Vision name. These terms describe how site inquiries and order requests are handled. The legal seller, final configuration, applicable policies and payment arrangements must be identified in the written sales documents before a purchase is completed.
1 — Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to purchase the products. By ordering, you confirm that possession and use are lawful in your jurisdiction.
2 — Nature of Products Sold
We sell precision electro-optical equipment and accessories. These are sensitive instruments intended for lawful civilian use. The buyer is responsible for safe handling, operation, storage and legal compliance after purchase.
3 — Night Vision Performance
Image intensifier tubes naturally differ in appearance and performance. Cosmetic variations can include small spots, edge distortion, peppering, halo and brightness differences, fixed-pattern noise and tube patterns. Specifications such as FOM, SNR, resolution, gain, EBI and halo may vary from listed or measured values. No two tubes perform identically.
4 — Acceptable Use and Damage
Improper use may void warranty or support. Examples include bright-light damage, recoil damage, disassembly, modification, improper battery use, moisture intrusion, impact, unauthorized parts, and unsuitable storage. Once delivered, the buyer assumes responsibility for care and operation.
5 — Returns and Warranty
Return eligibility for built-to-order devices, used equipment, accessories and image intensifier tubes may differ. Review the Returns & Warranty policy and confirm the specific written terms associated with your quote before authorizing payment. Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain applicable.
6 — Payment Disputes
Order documentation, serial-number records, specification sheets, delivery confirmation and accepted terms may be used to resolve payment disputes. This does not restrict rights to dispute an unauthorized or incorrectly charged transaction.
7 — Shipping and Risk of Loss
Orders normally ship with tracking and delivery confirmation. Customers must supply a valid, secure delivery address. Risk of loss is governed by applicable law and shipping terms disclosed at the time of purchase.
8 — Legal Compliance and Export
The buyer is responsible for understanding applicable local, state and federal laws on ownership, resale, transport or export. Controlled items must not be exported or transferred in violation of applicable law. This website does not provide legal advice.
9 — Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, indirect or consequential damages are excluded. Nothing in these terms limits liability or warranties that cannot lawfully be limited.
10 — Accuracy of Information
We strive to describe products and specifications accurately. Listing errors, specifications and provisional prices may be corrected; confirmed orders are governed by the terms disclosed at acceptance.
11 — Refusal of Service
Orders may be declined or cancelled for suspected fraud, unlawful activity or unavailable products, subject to applicable law.
12 — Applicable Law
Applicable consumer-protection, contract and export rules depend on the parties, product and transaction. Questions about the legal seller or transaction terms should be resolved before payment.
